Baltimore City has a rich heritage in the arts claiming famous musicians, filmmakers, artists, writers, and more. It’s a bustling urban metropolis with significant history, wonderful museums and lots to see. Public transportation includes the metro, buses and a water taxi that services the harbor area. The Baltimore Inner Harbor waterfront offers a wide variety of dining, shopping, and attractions to explore such as: M & T Bank Stadium (home of the Baltimore Ravens), Camden Yards (home of the Baltimore Orioles), The National Aquarium, The Maryland Zoo, Port Discovery Children’s Museum, Power Plant Live, Little Italy, Horseshoe Casino and so much more. Pimlico Racecourse, one of the oldest racetracks in America is home to the second jewel of horseracing’s Triple Crown, the Preakness Stakes. Baltimore Zoo is a very popular year round destination.

Baltimore City neighborhoods offer a wide variety of housing style and value. Each is distinct; many have historic designations and offer tax credits programs. Some, like Mt. Washington feel suburban and others, like Harbor East, are the epitome of contemporary urban lifestyle. Mt. Vernon, Waverly and Charles Village sport world class museums that are free to the public. Federal Hill, Canton and Locust Point all offer water access to the harbor. Roland Park and Guilford are home to some of the most stately homes in the area. Sherwood Gardens offers spectacular spring blooms and is a very popular day trip that draws people from far and wide.
